We have set up preferred discounted car rental rates for our Lake Tahoe vacation rental guests. Our confirmation package  condominium vacation rental program supplies directions from all major airports and includes several maps.

Car Rental: We have an optional program for car rental for our clients. It gives you the option of renting at any Advantage Rent A Car location throughout the USA. Advantage is now the fourth largest car rental company in the country. When visiting Tahoe, we rent vehicles ourselves from Advantage in Reno.

In Reno (closest jetport to our condos) the Advantage counter is at the baggage claim area. Go to the desk, fill out the usual paperwork and you’ll be shuttled two minutes way to 1395 Airmotive Way for your vehicle. Drive the vehicle to that same location on return and you’ll be shuttled back to the airport.

    1 From experience, we suggest that you start by selecting the Location Format (i.e. an airport or a non-airport city location).
    2 & 3 Then select your pick-up location and drop-off locations.
    4 Use the calendar icons to select your dates
    5 Enter DCJECDFK54 into the Promo Code cell and click the SUBMIT button.

The resulting web page will list the car sizes and types available at the selected location (as below). Note that there’s an option to pre-pay and save ~5% of the rental fee. Click PAY LATER or PAY NOW and continue to the payment page.

Various taxes will add just over 40% to the rental fee.
